High Pitch Ear Noise

Lots of people are interested in playing musical instruments such as a guitar, saxophone, a piano or drums. However, while these instruments specifically drums might be fun to play they can result in irreparable damage to one’s ears if proper protection is not exercised. Hearing damage is primarily caused by high pitched or loud sound for an extended period of time. The symptoms can be frequent or buzzing within one’s ears as well as the inability to clearly hear what other people are saying. The risk and extent of damage depends upon the duration in which one is exposed to loud or amplified sounds as well as the pitch of the sound being produced. Hearing deficiencies can either be long term of short term buzzing or ringing in one’s ears known as Tinnitus. On the other hand, one can also suffer through long term or short term inability to clearly hear what others are saying. High Pitch Ear Noise

In order to protect oneself from problems such as the one’s mentioned above, use of ear plugs or ear muff is recommended. These can be of two types. Ear plugs are basically small pieces of round wax or moldable silicone. Ear plugs are available with various noise reduction ratings that correspond to the level of noise that one has to suffer through. For musicians, the rating is approximately 20db and usually not more than that.

Basically there are three types of ear plugs mainly foam, silicone and flanged versions. The three basic types correspond to different noise levels as well as in accordance with personal preference. The size and shape of each type of ear plug is different. Sonor drums provide accessories such as ear plugs that have been based upon standard technology. They are specifically designed for noise reduction while playing drums.

One also has the option of employing the use of ear muffs which are just like large headphones but equipped with specific material that helps reduce the level of noise. Ear muffs are also used to protect against colder temperatures. High Pitch Ear Noise
