hey i am thinking about getting a pearl export ex drum set used,
what should i look for when buying used drums?
and how good is the pearl export ex drum kit?

I am buying a used drum kit as a beginner, but I want it to be a good quality so that i can keep it for a while with out upgrading. I was looking at a REMO 5 piece with a ride, crash, and hi-hat cymbal for $400. Is REMO a good brand, or should I go for something like Pearl or Yamaha?
